The Cowboys move past the Eagles tonight, and move to 6-6 and somehow still in the playoff hunt. First thing, I’d like to mention is that we’re going to see some people go over board with this win, and think we’re back on track. We are not, the defense has slowly reverted back to its 2011 self, in some part due to injuries. Let’s quell the playoff talk people.
Its hard to believe, but with the victory today against the Eagles and the Giants losing, the Cowboys are still in it for the NFC East title. The Cowboys have a longshot at making the playoffs at 4-5 and the rest of the conference playing better. So, the Cowboys need to clinch the NFC East to get in the playoffs, that’s what this victory means today. No one is coming out of
The Misery Bowl kicks off at 3:15 cst, and by the end of the game either the Cowboys or Eagles fan bases will be put out of their misery – the loser will be planning ahead for 2013. Its been a torturous season for Cowboys Nation, and by most accounts this game is the end-all be-all for the season. This game is up for grabs. I would have liked to think the Cowboys will win
The Cowboys haven’t had a durable back since Emmitt Smith was with the team, and the consistent injury back by committee continues. We know DeMarco Murray is out at minimum, one more game, and Felix Jones has a different nagging injury every week. I think the team is going to see if Felix will be a factor if he starts, but I think this is the week we finally get to see Lance
I’m sure like all fans, we are just pissed off beyond belief and with plenty reason. The Cowboys let us down, simple as that. Here we are thinking the Cowboys turned the corner after a great win on the road against the champs, but then they don’t even show up in Seattle. So much for thinking the Cowboys were returning to the 90′s, no these are the same ole Cowboys
The Cowboys 2012 schedule has been released, and as expected, its a tough one. We start the season with two road games which span across the nation, that’ll be interesting and quite challenging. We know the Giants to start will be hard, and Seattle with the 12th man, is never easy. There isn’t anything easy about this schedule, after the bye is just straight up tough
There’s a lot of rumors surrounding the Cowboys and Felix Jones. Supposedly, the Cowboys were looking at trading Jones, but a “representative” said this is not the case. Usually where there’s smoke there’s a fire, so, I think there’s some truth to this. As I said earlier I was waiting to get some more inside news from my source and I got the information
Ready for some playoff atmosphere football tonight? Well, that’s the type of big game we’re looking at this evening. Tonight’s game will likely determine which team will clinch the NFC East, and the loser will likely tailspin and fade away. The Cowboys are under alot of pressure, and you can almost feel everyone waiting for the wheels to fall off yet again in December.
The Cowboys defeated the Dolphins 20-19 with another game-winning field goal off the foot of rookie kicking sensation Dan Bailey. The Cowboys improve to 7-4 and alone atop the NFC East. The game itself was full of high drama, it had it all from kickoff to the final whistle; but, the Cowboys were able to muster some clutch drives with Romo leading the way. Romomentum in November Throughout
The game was blacked out here in my area, but by all accounts this game was a lopsided blowout, and this is what the Cowboys needed to be doing to teams all year. Jimmy Johnson said the team that loses this game would be done, and the Cowboys showed up and destroyed the Bills in convincing fashion. DeMarco Murray has cemented himself as the starter, he can stay all the diplomatic
The Cowboys came away with a win, which now takes them to 4-4 for the year; however, the Cowboys will need to keep winning the rest of the way for a playoff spot, and 10-6 may not get it done this year. The NFC East is going to go down to the wire, it’ll probably come down to the last week of the season at this rate. That being said, the Cowboys still have alot of work to
Its official, the Cowboys have parted ways with Tashard Choice. Choice was never able to break from behind the running backs stable in Dallas whether it was behind, Felix Jones, Marion Barber or now with DeMarco Murray and Phillip Tanner. The release of Choice now allows the Cowboys to activate rookie. LB Bruce Carter. Soon after news of his release broke, Choice tweeted, “I
