The Cowboys draft B.W. Webb, CB, William & Mary with the #114 of the 4th round. Depth was a need and adding Webb gives us another guy to fill in the departed Mike Jenkins. Share

Could Cowboys be Targeting Lovie Smith?

It hasn’t taken long for all the rumors and speculation to go wild soon after Rob Ryan was fired on Tuesday. Speculation is ranging from various defensive coordinator names, to scheme changes. There’s two things I believe the Cowboys are maneuvering towards: a change in scheme to the 4-3, and a change in philosophy. Jason Garrett clearly said they would be going in another

The Cowboys fired another assistant coach, and this time its defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. This is a move that I wanted to see happen, and one that needed to happen. Fact is, Ryan talked too much and couldn’t back it up, nor did he he ever elevate the defense to a top flight defense. Its funny to hear that his defense was exotic and aggressive – it was not. How many

Rob Ryan Will Remain Defensive Coordinator in 2013

Well, Jason Garrett’s press conference just finished and he didn’t want to entertain questions about the coordinators, and pretty much defended Rob Ryan. Listening to Garrett just further confirms my fears for 2013, in which, Rob Ryan will be back for the 2013 season. Furthermore, the 3-4 will remain as the base defense, and he will be the one calling the plays –

Cowboys Win, but Penalties Continue to stifle the Offense

The Cowboys were able to defeat a bad 1-4 Carolina Panthers team, but barely and now the Cowboys get back to a very mediocre 3-3 record for the year. After six games, the Cowboys have an identity, which is a conservative and penalty making thirsty team. We are still a bad team, and you can definitely expect more of the same type of games. The Cowboys have absolutely proven the penalty

It’s Back: Inconsistency! Cowboys Letdown in 27-7 Lose

I’m sure like all fans, we are just pissed off beyond belief and with plenty reason. The Cowboys let us down, simple as that. Here we are thinking the Cowboys turned the corner after a great win on the road against the champs, but then they don’t even show up in Seattle. So much for thinking the Cowboys were returning to the 90′s, no these are the same ole Cowboys

Player and Coaching Upgrades Key to Victory

It sounds weird to say this game against the NY Giants was a must-win this early in the season, but it definitely was and the Cowboys showed up in vintage form. There were a ton of questions heading into this game and several were answered emphatically. We know about the big plays, the clutch plays; but, let’s take a look at the inner workings that lead us to 24-17 victory. Conditioning Two

Cowboys Roster Turned a Corner After Draft

With the draft in the bag, there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel, and the roster has turned a corner for the best. Coach Garrett has methodically jettisoned players that do not fit his philosophy, and is plugging-in his type of players. Drafting Morris Claiborne was a major statement pick, and set everyone on the team on notice, the Cowboys have no problems upgrading

Cowboys Will Be Busy Today

The Cowboys have (5) picks today, but will they be making trades here to pick up a few more picks? The Cowboys have gone heavy on defense with their first two picks, and rightfully so, but don’t be surprised to see a couple of more defensive players drafted. The Cowboys had quite a few defensive backs interviewed and worked out leading up-to the draft, so I can see the Cowboys

Cowboys Draft DE Tyrone Crawford, Boise State

With their 3rd round pick, the Cowboys drafted DE Tyrone Crawford, Boise State. 6’4” 275lbs. 5-technique with a motor. This a good pick, reminds me of Hatcher a few years ago, instant upgrade over Spears. Good pick Dallas! Watching the war room, everyone is excited about this pick. Go Cowboys!! Share

Cowboys Must Hit on First Rounder

We’re on the eve of the draft and the rumors continue to shift and change by the minute. The latest has the Cowboys looking at Michael Brockers as the pick the whole time. Hopefully this is off base. Brockers is another Marcus Spears and just another LSU player that will probably fall under the same average play as previous guys like Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson, and Marcus
