At 3-4, Cowboys Longshot for Playoffs

The Cowboys and playoffs don’t even belong in the same sentence, and the reality is the Cowboys playoff hopes are pretty much dead. Outside of week 1, the Cowboys have squeaked by mediocre teams and lost some really poor games. You really do not know what team is going to show up. One thing I do know is that since the Super Bowl in 2000, there has only been one team to make

Top Unluckiest Moments in Cowboys History

The NFL Network came up with a Top 10 unluckiest plays in NFL History, to mark today’s Friday the 13th silliness. So, sticking with the theme let’s look at some of the most unluckiest plays in Cowboys history. Let’s go down memory lane, from worst, to the very worst: 4th and Dumb. Barry Switzer. December 10, 1995. The Cowboys were playing the Eagles in Philly,

What a load of bs turned in by the Cowboys against the very beatable Packers. Just when you get comfortable with the Cowboys they turn in one of these pathetic, turnover, penalty, sloppy ladened games. Anyone still think we’re back on track and going to be 13-3 or 12-4? This team never ceases to disappoint me, they beat the Falcons, they beat up the Eagles on the road, and

In an amazing twist of fate, the Bucs and Eagles lost today, thus thrusting the Cowboys back into control of their playoff hopes. Its simple. If the Cowboys win on the road in Philly we’re in. Whether or not this will happen will be the great question. The Cowboys will get one more chance for the ultimate retribution. Romo its do or die the rest of the way, please step up

As a die hard fan on this special night, this is the most embarrassing game I’ve ever watched in my entire life. We’re talking about a chance to control our playoff aspirations and close out the final game ever at Texas Stadium with a win. It did not happen, the Cowboys are a complete failure and big disappointment. This team has ALOT of issues to address this offseason.

Dallas can clinch a playoff spot, with: a win and a Philadelphia loss or tie and a Chicago loss or tie and an Atlanta loss OR a win and a Philadelphia loss or tie and a Chicago loss or tie and a Tampa Bay loss OR a win and a Chicago loss or tie and a Tampa Bay loss and an Atlanta loss OR a win and a Philadelphia loss or tie and an Atlanta loss and Dallas clinches strength

Now that my anger with tears have let up, I’m going to take a look into the future – a bit more realistically. Right now, it looks like Jason Garrett will end up in Atlanta or Baltimore, he is interviewing with both clubs for the second time. Garrett as the HC for the Cowboys is not going to happen. Here’s what IS going to happen though: Garrett will probably get

The Cowboys took care of business in a close game against the lowly Panthers, but the Packers got clobbered by the Bears on the road, and thus assuring the Cowboys homefield advantage through the playoffs. The Super Bowl goes through Dallas! The Cowboys now have some much needed options in resting players against the Redskins. I don’t expect the Cowboys to player several key

Let me preface this by apologizing to my avid fans, its been busy at work and home, so the blog has not been updated as much as I had hoped this past week. We’ll back to the normal article load this week. Now, back to the state of Cowboys Nation… The fans showed up against the Vikings this week, so that’s a positive. The Cowboys defeated the Vikings, but it was

With this week being the dress rehearsal for most teams, we’re drawing closer to the regular season. Some teams have bolstered their rosters with free agents, while others have replenished via the draft. The NFL season is always unpredictable, but I’ll take my stab at the NFL season. What’s everyone’s predictions for the upcoming NFL season? Do you agree
