» Demarcus Ware

Word has the Cowboys looking deep at linebackers, and this is no surprise. The Cowboys linebacker corps could look totally different in the coming months. We pretty assured that Zach Thomas will be signing somewhere else, Greg Ellis probably gets his papers soon. The oft injured Kevin Burnett should be moving on as well. We’re left with Ware, James, and Spencer. The Cowboys

Looks like our best player on the team, DeMarcus Ware has won another award, this time its the Butkus Award. This is the first Butkus Award at the NFL level, and what better player to earn this than Ware. Congrats to Ware. Someone is going to get paid, and this time the bill will be worth the price. Ware has emerged as the best OLB in the league and has the game to back it up. From

Good news for DeMarcus Ware, he earned an All-Pro nod today. Congrats. Let’s build this team around Ware and not Ro-oh-no. From DMN Blizzog: OLB DeMarcus Ware was the only Cowboy named to the Associated Press All-Pro team. He received 45 of 50 votes. Kansas City’s Tony Gonzalez got the nod over Jason Witten at tight end by a 33-14 margin. Jay Ratliff got three votes

I’ve been trying to see why our defense has not been able to be a force and shutdown people. When you have a marquee player like DeMarcus Ware, your defense gets instanst credibility to some extent, but that’s where it ends in Dallas. I’ve come to the conclusion that our draft picks, mainly from the Parcells era, have been busts, or just marginal at best. We’ll

The Cowboys moved the 3-4 defense in 2005, and after several season’s its been a complete and utter disappointment. There can be several factors that have led to let down of the much hyped system. Parcells was supposedly a guru of the system, and somehow under his tenure, it never lived up to the in-your face pressure it had touted. Maybe you can blame the ineffectiveness

I hate to say it, but Newman is injured yet again. His shaky play last week was disappointing to say the least, and now, he’s back on the injury tray. For years, Newman was a shutdown cornerback, and underrated, but has Newman peaked. This is a legimate question with his age and recent rash of injuries. Terence Newman was a surprise addition to the injury report on Friday.

Forget the score, what I wanted to see is how the first teamers would do in their time on the field. If tonight’s game is a dress rehearsal and a sneak peek of things to come, then I’m nearly satisfied, not completely, but almost. First things first….do we need to redo Marion Barber’s contract already? I mean, this guy is the real deal, and is playing in

Now that my anger with tears have let up, I’m going to take a look into the future – a bit more realistically. Right now, it looks like Jason Garrett will end up in Atlanta or Baltimore, he is interviewing with both clubs for the second time. Garrett as the HC for the Cowboys is not going to happen. Here’s what IS going to happen though: Garrett will probably get

Another so-so performance from the offense as far as points go, but a win is a win. This is not the type of performances we should be having this late in the season, and its definitely a concern. Romo looked to be back on track and the thumb did not seem to be a big factor, Marion Barber was back in form, and Witten continues to be clutch. The defense was shaky in the beginning,

This was a close game, and like last week, we mange to find ways to keep teams in the game. Gurode has his worst game in several seasons, what was all that about? Yes, Jason Campbell looked good, but the defense just floundered around in the 2nd half and let the Redskins in the game, very disappointing. The offense has the killer instinct, but the defense has some ways to go. Newman

Its a boring week with the Cowboys on their Bye Week. Thankfully though, we have some bye week news to keep our minds busy. The latest rumor hitting the net is Chad Johnson. Its believed Chad Johnson will NOT be with the Bengals next season. The Bengals will probably move the receiver in a trade or release him. There will be a market for Chad’s services, and look no further

The Cowboys go into Buffalo as the last undefeated team in the NFC. The Packers dropped one to the Bears. It seems like forever since the Cowboys last game, but fans remain pumped over this upcoming game. A win over the Bills will further solidify their supremacy atop the NFC. The Cowboys cannot take the Bills lightly, they do have some strong points in their game despite being
