Cowboys Close Game Antics Cost Them

Well no one should be too surprised, right? If you keep playing these close games, the kind that rely on a final game-winning drive, and a kicker, then eventually you’re going to get burnt, and today is that evidence. Yes, a win is a win, but sometimes its not a win if you’re barely winning. The formula the Cowboys have been using most of the season relies on several

Did Garrett Dial-back Romo at End of 4th Quarter?

We all saw it, and we all knew what it meant. Late in the 4th quarter with about 2:47 left on the clock the Cowboys were up 16-13, we needed to get some time off the clock, and make some first downs. We then saw Coach Garrett dial-up 3 consecutive runs plays, for minimal yardage. Why? We all know why, and it was clear as day. Garrett didn’t want Romo to put the ball in the

Romo Out Does Jets Meltdown, Start Kitna After Bye Week

Enough is enough!! Tony Romo’s rollercoaster ride as the Cowboy’s leader at QB may have come to an end officially. Fans, are done with Romo, officially. Preparedness and Defense Will Decide Game Against Lions

There’s alot of swagger building on the defensive side of the ball, and to me, the game will be won on defense. Which team will have more success on defense? Rob Ryan has his unit playing lights out, and with alot of confidence; moreover, this is being done with several backups in the secondary. Its clear the players have fully bought into what Coach Garrett is building in

Garrett and coaching staff won’t get paycuts during lockout, for now.

We’re approaching the June 3 ruling which will determine if the lockout is legal, which in-turn will solidify the owner’s stance on the lockout. The lockout could last a long time. Several teams have already been slashing their staffs and asking their coaches to take pay cuts. Greg Bedard (Boston.com) is reporting that seven teams have pledged not to cut coaches salaries
