As expected, the Cowboys are wasting no time and continue to piece together their staffs on both side’s of the ball. Today the Cowboys hired Matt Eberflus to coach the linebackers. Rob Ryan worked with Eberflus while in Cleveland. Next news should be the hiring of a defensive line coach and hopefully a secondary coach. Share

With the Pro Bowl in the bag this marks the beginning of the offseason for the entire team now. Its back to business come monday morning. Jerry, Garrett, and Ryan were on hand in Mobile for the Senior Bowl, so we may expect some other coaching interviews to take place here very soon. Not only was the brain trust on-site to scout players, but perhaps scouting some assistant coaches

Wade Phillips has snagged up Reggie Herring to Houston, its official. I fully expect secondary coaches Brett Maxie and Dave Campo to be relieved of their duties as well. The secondary played their worst football in several seasons, and a fresh start could be just what the doctor ordered.
