Travis Frederick over Manalic Watson. Really. Jerry, there is no shame in stepping down as GM. You have finally committed Flagrant Neglect. You started great but it’s over Jerry, now be a good owner and give the job to an experienced GM to restart the Cowboys and finish training your son for the job. We’ll miss you. There is no shame, Jerry, if you pass the torch, give yourself another gold watch, have a big retirement party, (help) select your temporary replacement, ride off into the sunset and call it a career. This you must do, now Jerry. It is for your (and every living-breathing true blue Cowboy’s fan) own good. Call in the press and announce your retirement; let the job search begin. It is the humane thing to do Jerry, there is no shame in that.

We are screwed!
There are so MANY reasons that Tony does NOT deserve that contract!
Jerry has just locked us into mediocrity.
Only chance we have is to have the best O and D lines out there- too bad we suck at drafting that..

With so many needs at OL, Safety and DL I would like to see us trade down a few spots and get an extra 3rd rounder or better. If we trade back to let’s say #25, we could still get Kawann Short, an ideal 3-gap DT and then trade the additional pick(s) we got and move into the second round and with one pick grab Barrett Jones(C/G) and maybe Cyprien at safety. What do you think?

I think Bruce Arians has the edge there especially with Telesco’s ties with the Colts, but we’ll see. I think we’ll hear some more changes before the weekend. What’s hurting Lovie is his offensive plans, I don’t think the owners are sold on whatever plans he’s bringing to the table, so he’ll likely end up being someone’s DC. We’ll see.
