Official: Brian Baker Hired as Defensive Line Coach

The rumor is now official, Brian Baker has accepted the defensive line job offered to him by the Cowboys. This is a very very nice addition to the defensive coaching squad, I like this move coupled with the hiring of Rob Ryan. Watch out.

The Dallas Cowboys have hired Brian Baker as their defensive line coach.
Darin Gantt of the Charlotte Observer reports that Baker, who was with the Carolina Panthers for the past two seasons, will leave a job at the University of North Carolina after only a month. Baker was offered the job last week and asked for time to fulfill his commitments through national signing day.
He will help new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan install his 3-4 defense. Baker has made previous NFL stops in Detroit, Minnesota and San Diego. (NFP)
I think we are all still wondering if Maxie and Campo will remain on staff. I guess we’ll get some news on this soon.
