The NFL continued their series of The Top 100 Players of 2011, as voted by the players themselves. Tonight 80-71 were revealed.
The first Dallas Cowboy has made the list, and its Jay Ratliff landing the #75 spot.Tom Coughlin narrated the Ratliff piece and gave some high praises. Good stuff!
There was another Cowboy making tonight’s list and it was Tony Romo landing the #72 spot. That’s not too bad considering he missed most of the season due to a broken collarbone. Here’s tonights list:
#80 Jared Allen, DE, Vikings
#79 D’Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Jets
#78 Dallas Clark, TE, Colts
#77 Chris Snee, OG, Giants
#76 Santonio Holmes, WR, Steelers
#75 Jay Ratliff, NT, Cowboys
#74 Greg Jennings, WR, Packers
#73 Trent Cole, DE, Eagles
#72 Tony Romo, QB, Cowboys
#71 Mario Williams, DE, Texans
It’ll be interesting to see where Jason Witten, DeMarcus Ware, or Miles Austin end up. Will we see any offensive lineman on the list?
Stay tuned!

Just came across this blantant copying of our material here: http://thelandryhat.com/2011/05/18/two-dallas-cowboys-make-the-nfls-top-100-of-2011/comment-page-1/#comment-22083
WOW, straight up copying of our material.
Hey, I’m the senior writer for TLH. It wasn’t 100% the same… but it was the same. Sorry about that. We have a few new guys learning the ropes and I think we can use this a good learning moment.
I’ll make you a deal, feel free to copy one of the article I write… though it may be a few weeks before anything newsworthy actually occurs. This lockout is miserable. If I was to write about legal ongoings, I’d rather write about the cases heard by the Supreme Court. But I digress.
Nice job on the post and I’ll promise that we will keep our “sampling” to a minimum.
Hey Joe, thanks to everyone over there recognizing that. All is good now. I hear ya on the lockout, hopefully June 3rd will get this moving either way.
